Her work has helped immigrant communities engage more fully in civic life by providing consistent bilingual information that helps families access local services while fostering understanding between Latino and non-Latino communities. In 2025, her newsroom reached over 55M views and is now the only 24/7 Spanish-language digital newsroom serving Kansas, Missouri, Iowa, and Pennsylvania, reflecting the need for accessible Spanish-language information where many Latino families lack access to local news.
