As a commentator, Deja has leveraged her social media platform with over 800,000 followers and advocacy on reproductive rights. Deja previously led the influencer strategy for Vice President Kamala Harris and mobilizes young people with digital tools to ensure public policies are representative of lived experiences. Her 2025 congressional run in her hometown drew national attention with nearly 100 million impressions and $1 million raised, almost all of it from small-dollar donors.
