Adrian Lipscombe is the co-founder and chef at the Muloma Heritage Center, a cultural institution preserving African Atlantic foodways through land stewardship, culinary education, and building community-rooted food systems. The center works to strengthen food security, support Black farmers, preserve heritage seeds, and reconnect communities to culturally rooted agricultural traditions across the South and Midwest. A former White House and U.S. State Department culinary ambassador from 2023 to 2025, Adrian has also helped shape local food policy through her work with the Austin-Travis County Food Policy Board and national food systems initiatives. She also founded the 40 Acres Project, which reconnects Black farmers, chefs, and communities through equitable food systems and agricultural partnerships.
