Scheffer Okore

Scheaffer is an Afro-politico-feminist, international relations, and diplomacy graduate from the University of Nairobi. She is the co-founder and program manager at Siasa Place, a non-profit organization that promotes youth participation in democratic and electoral processes through research, training, civic education, networking, and strategic partnerships. She is vice chairperson of Ukweli Party, a grassroots political movement that is restoring power back to the people. She is also a member of the First Idea Laboratory Feminist Reflection and Action Group which inspires the renewal of progressive political thought in Africa with FES Mozambique. She considers herself to be a freelance creative writer, social justice activist, and political analyst.
