MBK Elkhart accepted the MBK Community Challenge to improve the lives of boys and young men of color (BYMOC) in 2015. Through a collaborative platform called "Horizon Education Alliance," launched in 2012, all seven school K-12 systems in the county are working closely with businesses and non-profit organizations to raise educational outcomes among all their youth, particularly their BYMOC. MBK Elkhart is focused on the following five MBK milestones: (1), (2), (3), (4), (5).
