MBK Durham accepted the MBK Community Challenge to improve the lives of boys and young men of color (BYMOC) in 2014. Alongside their community partners, MBK Durham is accelerating impact in targeted communities, mobilizing citizens and resources, and promoting what works. They lead a local call to action to build safe and supportive communities for BYMOC where they feel valued and have clear pathways to opportunity. MBK Durham’s goal is to encourage mentorship, reduce violence, and improve life outcomes for BYMOC. They are focused on all six MBK milestones.
