Nam Hoang Hoai Nguyen is a crisis counselor for the Crisis Text Line, providing risk assessment, crisis de-escalation, and active listening to people struggling with mental health crises. Since May 2020, Nam has dedicated more than 400 hours to supporting over 500 texters. Nam has dedicated his career to supporting those suffering from mental health crises. Nam now leads the training of new volunteers and is seeking additional leadership skills to broaden his impact in the mental health space.
