Dr. Abby Kinch is the chief of staff for Student Veterans of America (SVA) and a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. In her role, she oversees research focused on understanding and combating the opportunity gaps inherent in military service, particularly for enlisted forces. Her career journey with SVA, from chapter member to chapter president at Florida State University and then staff to executive, demonstrates her deep commitment to improving educational outcomes for student veterans. She has represented SVA at the Department of Veterans Affairs, the Department of Education, and the White House and is committed to advocating for women in the military with the Department of Defense.
