Melissa Ryan is the chief executive officer of CARD Strategies, a consulting firm that helps people, policymakers, and institutions combat online toxicity and extremism. CARD Strategies works to help organizations understand the threats posed by disinformation, extremism, and online harms, and how to mitigate those threats. Melissa also edits a weekly newsletter covering the same topics that reaches more than 15,000 subscribers. Melissa's favorite part of her work is helping others not get derailed by threats so they can remain focused on doing the work they do best.
