Katey Tuchscherer Franklin, Ph.D., LSC, LCPC, is an Assistant Professor of Counseling and the School Counseling Program Leader at Montana State University in Bozeman, Montana. Montana State University is a land grant university, and in her role, Katey endeavors to illuminate and systemically address rural school communities' mental and behavioral health needs to support the academic, vocational, and social/emotional needs of Montana kids. Katey is passionate about supporting equity in public education and addressing systemic barriers to resources for children.
