Jeanette Quick is the deputy commissioner of investor protection at the California Department of Financial Protection and Innovation (DFPI), a position she was appointed to by Governor Gavin Newsom. DFPI oversees California's financial markets, protecting consumers and promoting fair and responsible business practices. Jeanette leads DFPI's crypto unit and other special projects focused on building a safe and inclusive financial ecosystem. Jeanette is passionate about economic equity and building a better future for all.
