Danny Montes is the national organizing director of Alliance for Safety and Justice (ASJ), a multi-state organization that aims to replace over-incarceration with more effective public safety solutions rooted in crime prevention, community health, rehabilitation, and support for crime victims. Danny leads ASJ's organizing and campaign efforts for its flagship Crime Survivors for Safety and Justice program. In his role, Danny supports local leaders in communities most impacted by crime, advocates for new safety solutions, and creates campaigns to reform our justice system nationwide. Danny is passionate about bringing people together from all walks of life to build a movement, win campaigns, and advocate for a more fair and just America.
