Ivan Blazevic serves as program manager of the Engaged Democracy Initiative at the European Fund for the Balkans. The initiative involves local movements and organizations, researchers, social businesses, engaged citizens, and journalists in a horizontal regional network for supporting, promoting, and pursuing values of open, solidary, and democratic societies across the Western Balkans region. Ivan was the former director of the SOLIDARNA Foundation, a Croatian human rights organization where he and the team were awarded 5 national and international awards. Ivan has extensive experience in community mobilization and advocacy; he has worked with more than 50 European nonprofits, supporting them in their organizational development. Ivan also works as a consultant with funding organizations and companies, assisting them with human rights implementation and strategic development.
