Adelaïde Charlier is a climate justice activist and the co-founder of YouthForClimate Belgium, a youth climate movement inspired by the work of Greta Thunberg, who mobilizes young people across borders and elevates youth voices on this issue. Adelaïde is also the co-founder of The Bridge, an organization building a network of young citizens across Europe who can influence EU policies towards greater justice and respect for planetary boundaries. The Bridge provides a space for collaboration between movement and institutional leaders by providing skill-sharing, key issue identification, legislative monitoring, content creation, and movement-building support. Adelaïde has also served as a special advisor on the European Green Deal to Executive Vice President of the European Commission Frans Timmermans.
