Vladyslava Kravchenko is the Chairperson of the Athletes' Council and a Governing Board Member at the International Paralympic Committee. She is also the treasurer of the Malta Paralympic Committee, which she helped establish in 2018. The organization advocates for social change through sport, striving to increase sport participation among people with disabilities. In this role, Vladyslava worked to integrate Para sport into the national curriculum at primary and secondary levels through the I’mPOSSIBLE educational program, providing specialized training to educators and coaches. A two-time Paralympian and award-winning Para sport advocate, Vladyslava made history in 2016 as Malta’s first female swimmer to compete at the Paralympic Games, repeating the achievement in Tokyo in 2021. She also serves on the International Olympic Committee’s Athletes’ Commission as a liaison and is currently reading for a PhD in Diplomacy and International Governance at Loughborough University London.
