Kim Smouter is the executive director of the European Network Against Racism, through which he collaborates with lawmakers, institutions, and civil society organizations across Europe to advocate for racial equality and foster cooperation among anti-racism groups. Prior to this, Kim held senior leadership roles in the European Parliament, the European Network of National Civil Society Associations, and ESOMAR (formerly known as the European Society for Opinion and Marketing Research). Kim is particularly interested in leveraging innovative partnerships between civil society and investment finance to reduce race and ethnicity-based wealth disparities in Europe. Kim brings a wealth of cross-sector experience to the cohort and has demonstrated success in shifting conversations on racism across the continent.
