Filip Koprčina is the Founder and CEO of Energy Shift, a company dedicated to democratizing the energy sector and promoting active participation in the transition to renewable energy. Through a blockchain-powered platform, Energy Shift enables individuals, regardless of financial background, to jointly invest in and co-own solar farms and wind turbines. Before founding Energy Shift, Filip worked at a solar installation company and advised large corporations on transitioning to sustainable energy. He also contributed to the United Nations’ High-Level Dialogue on Energy as a working group member, providing recommendations on achieving sustainable development goal targets. Filip is committed to “revolutionizing the energy sector” and was recognized with the Sustainable Energy Award in the Young Trailblazer category by the European Commission and Forbes 30 Under 30 for Europe in 2022. Filip has shown an eagerness to disrupt traditional systems in order to make impactful progress by putting individuals in the driver’s seat when it comes to the energy transition.
