Ana Tavadze is a frontline activist fighting for human rights and democracy in Georgia. She currently serves as project manager at Shame Movement, the largest civil society organization in Georgia, which focuses on protecting human rights, advocating for fair and free elections, and raising civil awareness. She also works as a project manager at Tbilisi Pride, a nonprofit that organizes the annual Tbilisi Pride Week and champions LGBTQ+ rights and visibility in Georgia. In 2019, Ana joined GrlzWave, a feminist and queer multimedia platform that engages young Georgians on issues of feminism and queer rights. With a background in journalism, Ana has worked with Forbes Georgia, Business Media Georgia, and the Economic Policy Research Center. She is particularly interested in the effects of the digital era on political decision-making and is committed to fostering a more inclusive and knowledgeable society.
