Keʻalohi M. Reppun is the director of the Kauihelani Learning Center for ʻIke Hawaiʻi (Hawaiian Knowledge) at Punahou School, where she has developed and delivered Hawaiian language and culture curriculum for grades K–12 since 2018. Her work reaches over 3,000 students, and her efforts to implement Hawaiian language proficiency assessments at the elementary and middle school levels are now being adopted across immersion schools statewide. Beyond Punahou, she co-founded Kauluwao, Incorporated, a nonprofit that supports teachers in deepening the cultural origin of their language and pedagogy. The daughter of farmers and community activists, Keʻalohi was raised with a deep commitment to education, community, and aloha ʻāina (love of land).
