Taryn is the co-founder and executive director of literacy non-profit organization READ to RISE, which promotes youth literacy in under-resourced communities in South Africa. Through her class programs, she motivates children to read and inspires them to lead great lives. Through her class programs, she motivates children to read and inspires them to lead great lives. To date, her organization has conducted over 3,100 class programs to over 76,000 children at 95 primary schools in Gauteng, Western Cape, and Limpopo and given out over 160,000 new story books.
