Muzalema Mwanza is a civil engineer and the Founder of Safe Motherhood Alliance, a social enterprise that develops innovative technology maternal health products to meet the unique needs of women in resource-poor settings, particularly low-income communities and rural areas. With over ten years of experience working directly in rural communities focusing on education and gender empowerment, she is using her background and experience to create sustainable solutions in these areas focusing on women's health and sanitation, educating them on safe birthing methods and distributing Baby Delivery Kits.
