Koffi Kouame is the Co-Founder of Ivorian Observatory for Human Rights, a youth-driven nonprofit promoting and defending human rights in Côte d’Ivoire. Koffi believes that promoting and respecting human rights is necessary to building a peaceful world where all people live in brotherhood, practicing tolerance, transparency, and accountability. His interests lie in the protection of human rights, in promoting democracy and good governance, and particularly in strengthening civic space for human rights defenders to carry out social changes. Koffi’s civic hero is Thomas Sankara.
