Allan Tumbo is a Research Advisor at the South African Human Rights Commission (SAHRC). The SAHRC is a national human rights institution that is mandated by the constitution to protect and promote human rights. Allan is passionate about the plight of vulnerable groups in accessing services and opportunities; equal rights are therefore a key component of his work, particularly for persons with disabilities. He aims to address barriers that marginalize the poor and vulnerable from living dignified lives.
