Ako Essan Emile is the West Africa Specialist of the Social Cohesion and Reconciliation Index. Ako studies young professionals in the fields of peacebuilding, conflict management, and research. In 2018 he oversaw a nationwide quantitative research process with a sample of 6200 people across Liberia. Ako has launched a collaborative book initiative in order to capture peace messages of the youth in Côte d’Ivoire in view of a violent-free election in Côte d’Ivoire’s 2020 presidential elections. Ako is devoted to a peaceful, stable, and resilient West Africa where youth have the opportunity to use their full potential.
