Yohannes is co-founder and managing partner of Veritas Consulting, a leading policy advisory, investment facilitation, and management consulting firm in Ethiopia. His portfolio includes advising various government agencies on public policy in the fields of tax, law, economics, micro and small enterprises, development, and housing. Furthermore, he provides legal and business development advising to private sector clients in a variety of sectors, including finance, agriculture, consumer goods, construction, IT, energy, and mining. Prior to returning to Ethiopia, Yohannes served as the Chief of Staff and legislative director for Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee in the United States Congress and as a litigator at the international law firm of Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton in New York.
