Yaya is the current executive chairperson of Burkina Muslim Pupils and Students Association, which is the largest Islamic youth organization of Burkina Faso at 100 members. The association works to improve the civic and moral education of pupils and students. Yaya is a graduate of the University of Ouagadougou with a bachelor degree in English and is doing a 1 year master's degree in applied linguistics and English didactic. He is an activist of education. For his commitment to the cause of education, the NGO TheirWorld has made him Global Youth Ambassador for Education since December 2017. He is dedicating a great part of his life to the promotion of a quality education for both girls and boys through his commitment to youth led organizations. In November 2017, the African Union International Center for Girls’ and Women’s Education (AU/ CIEFFA) selected him with other young African leaders for three days workshop in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
