Willson is a social innovator with interests in gender equality, social and economic justice, and entrepreneurship. He is the executive director of For Equality, a leading civil society organization based in Lilongwe, Malawi with a regional presence in four African countries. For Equality is working to accelerate progress toward attaining gender parity on the continent by 2030. Willson is the convener of the Africa Gender Equality Conference and the award-winning #SheTalks dialogue platform. He sits on numerous boards across Africa including the Nvak Foundation, Loving Arms Malawi, and Disability Amalgamation Community Trust.
