Sefora is a civic leader and gender specialist with nine years of experience in promoting gender equality. She works in the area of policy development, gender analysis, training, and empowerment of young women and girls. She is the founder of a youth organization called SEPHIS, which aims to empower young women by helping them take charge of their leadership and development for continuous personal, professional, political, economic, and social growth of women in every sector. Through SEPHIS, she places gender equality at the center of her strategy for promoting development. Sefora launched the first intergenerational program for young women in Côte d'Ivoire: The African Women of the Future Fellowship. This leadership and mentoring program aims to prepare the next generation of women leaders in Africa. Her dream and commitment motivate her to actively fight for the promotion and protection of women and girls in 5 Africans countries where SEPHIS is present.
