Pamela Adie

Nigeria
Pamela is an LGBT rights advocate with a passion for storytelling. She is the executive director of The Equality Hub, a non-profit which advances the rights and wellbeing of lesbian, bisexual, and queer women in Nigeria. Previously, she worked as senior campaign manager at All Out, a global LGBT rights organization. There, she led the global campaign that persuaded the South African government to ban notorious anti-gay Pastor Steven Anderson from entering the country to spread hate. Pamela was invited to the 2017 World Economic Forum to make the case for LGBT inclusion in the workplace to business leaders. She is an independent filmmaker making her directorial debut with Under The Rainbow, a documentary about life as an out lesbian in Nigeria. Ms. Adie holds an MBA from Webster University and another master's degree in human services from the University of Baltimore.
