In March 2018, Mark was re-appointed as Commissioner for Economic Planning, Budget, and Development Partners in Anambra State, Nigeria. As commissioner, he is charged with the responsibility of administering the activities of the ministry, overseeing the preparation of the state's plans and budgets and coordinating development partnership programs (UN, World Bank, USAID. etc) across all sectors in the state. Over the past few years, he has been appointed to serve on numerous federal and state governments committees, such as the National Economic Council Retreat Implementation Committee, Anambra Economic Transformation Committee, and a host of others. In June 2016, he made history when he was appointed Nigeria's youngest commissioner since the onset of the 4th republic in 1999. Mark is happily married to his wife, Phillipa, and they are most fortunate to have a charming son, Raluchi.
