Kwabena is the CEO of Boomers International Ltd, a social enterprise in Ghana that is providing jobs and economic empowerment to young people and women in rural Ghana through the production of bamboo bicycles and accessories. He is also the executive director of the Yonso Project, which provides educational empowerment to deprived children in rural communities in Ghana. Kwabena is an ardent crusader for rural community development and champions the cause of rural development by ensuring that rural communities have the tools to empower themselves out of poverty. He does this by providing them with educational and economic opportunities to break the cycle of poverty that runs to families from one generation to the other.
