Jean Njari
Burundi
Jean is a 34-year-old young African leader from Burundi. He has more than seven years of community work experience throughout NGOs and CSOs in rural and resource-limited settings of Burundi. His track records and work experience include promoting and protecting human rights of vulnerable people including women, girls, and children with a proven background in community-based project management. Currently, Executive Director of Stand up for Community Development (SCODEV), and Project Manager of Women Network for Peace and Human Rights (WNPHR); Mr. Jean Njari had been chairperson of YALI Regional Leadership Center East Africa Alumni Chapter of Burundi; and youth employment officer at Mirror of Peace Association. Holding numerous international training certificates, Mr. Jean Njari has bachelor’s degrees both in law and in philosophy of development. He aspires to work with regional organizations such as African Union or International Organization such as the United Nations.
