Gilbert Nsabimana
Rwanda
Gilbert is a humble and self-challenging man. He describes himself as a team worker and eager to learn with 20 years of experience in a variety of fields such as education and community development. Currently, he works as a country director of a US-funded organization called Spark MicroGrants. His role is to create a strong partnership in Rwanda in particular and across East Africa in general, managing the team of graduated facilitators who work with our communities, analyze policies of community development in Rwanda, and map areas of linkage to better support government in implementation, and influence policymakers. He plays a key role in representing the organization, finance, human resource management, and facilitates communication within the organization.
