Brown is a lawyer by training and began to work in nonprofit associations in 2001. He has experience in peacebuilding, in human rights, monitoring, and civic engagement. Brown is the country director of the organization Ignitus Worldwide of the Democratic Republic of Congo. In 2014, he was fellow alumni and participated in a program of the US Department of State called International Visitor Program Leadership.
