Become a Friend of the Obama Foundation

The image is a rendering of the John Lewis Plaza. The Plaza is outdoors and the ground is covered in gray concrete pavers. There are trees on the left hand side of the plaza. In the background of the plaza is the Obama Presidential Center Museum. On the right hand side of the image is the entrance to the Obama Presidential Center Forum. On the pavers of the plaza are tables and chairs. Across the Plaza are people of different races and ethnicities, standing, sitting, and walking on the Plaza.

Friends are the driving force behind our shared mission.

Friends give $1,000 or more annually to support the critical work of the Foundation and the Center and drive our mission to inspire, empower, and connect people to change their world. Each year at the Obama Foundation, we’re building a global network of thousands of changemakers to build a stronger democratic culture as they become more active citizens— and we can’t do it without your help. When you become a Friend, your generous annual support provides funding for:

  • Tools and resources for our changemakers across the world.

  • Construction of the Obama Presidential Center, a world-class museum, library, athletic center, programs and events facility, and other gathering spaces.

As a thank you for your generous contribution as a Friend, you’ll receive:

  • Invitations to virtual town halls with Foundation leadership and special guests.

  • Public recognition on the Obama Foundation website.

  • Exclusive email updates, a quarterly newsletter, and more.
