Tortilla Tales: Food, Art, and Mesoamerican Traditions
In this tortilla art class, children will make tortillas from scratch while learning about masa harina. Several colors of masa will be available for kids to craft their own designs. They’ll then have the option to add cheese as we cook the tortillas. Participants can enjoy this cozy comfort food, a staple of many Mesoamerican societies for thousands of years.
For kids 6 to 13.
