“Living so close to the future Obama Presidential Center inspired me to become a supporter of the Foundation. To me, this is a chance to offer these young people a better life and give the neighborhood a sense of hope.”

2022 Year In Review
We spent approximately $5.9M with more than 105 diverse businesses, and $3.6M—representing over a quarter of total addressable spending—with Chicago-based companies.
As we continue to build the OPC, 54% of the services that we’ve contracted and paid for are being delivered by diverse businesses.
We’re just getting started. Our responsibility is to increase this number as the Foundation grows, so that diverse businesses across industries have meaningful opportunities to participate in our work.
